Integrating Loox with EcomSolid

You can display your Rating and Product Reviews widgets on store pages built with EcomSolid. 

In this article, we'll go over the steps required to display the Loox Product Reviews, Rating, or carousel widgets on pages created with EcomSolid.

Rating & Product Reviews widgets

To add the Loox Rating or Product Reviews widget to pages built with EcomSolid, follow these instructions:

  1. Choose the page you'd like to add the Loox widget to, under EcomSolid's Theme Editor.
  2. Choose Add Add-on on the side-bar, under the "Add-ons" tab:
  3. Choose Loox (Star Badge & Reviews):
  4. Choose between Star Badge and Reviews (The Rating and Product Reviews widgets, respectively), and place the widget where you'd like on the page:
  5. Finally, click Save and Publish Theme on the top right corner.

To add the Legacy Carousel widget to pages built with EcomSolid, follow the steps below:

  1. Choose the page you'd like to add the widget to, under EcomSolid's Theme Editor.
  2. Choose Add Add-on on the side-bar, under the "Add-ons" tab:
  3. Choose Loox (Carousel Widget):
  4. Place the widget where you'd like on the page:
  5. Finally, click Save and Publish Theme on the top right corner. 

Note: The Legacy Carousel Widget will not appear on live pages until you select to showcase at least one review. Click here to learn how to do so.
