Onsite Sidebar Widget

Allow your customers to register as advocates of your brand with a click of a button using our Onsite Sidebar Widget.

When clicked, the referral registration form will appear, providing your visitors with a unique discount link they can share with their friends and family.

Customers can copy the link or share it directly using any of the available apps on their devices. The same discount link will also be sent to their email, so they can resend it at any point in time.

Appearance settings

The Onsite Referrals Sidebar Widget can be customized directly from its dedicated settings page:

Customization options:

• Position: Decide which side of the page the Referral Sidebar Widget will appear on. 
• Button text: Change the button’s text. 
• Button background color: Adjust the color of the Widget.
• Button text color: Pick the color of the Sidebar title's font.
• Hide on mobile: Disable  Sidebar from appearing on mobile devices.
• Display on: Choose which pages the Widget will appear on. 

Onsite Referrals widget

Display and customize your referral registration form on any of your store pages using our Onsite Referrals Widget.

Customers registering through the Widget’s form will receive a unique discount link they can share directly using any of the available apps on their devices with their family and friends.

The same discount link will also be sent to their email, so they can resend it at any point in time.

Appearance settings

Customize the widget's appearance settings directly from the Shopify Theme Editor to match your brand’s design:

Customization options:

• Layout: Display an image on the left side of the Widget.. 
• Photo: Image selection tool. Import your own image, or select one from Shopify’s collection of free images.

• Primary Color: Adjusts the color of the "Get Discount Link" button.
• Text Color: Adjusts the color of the widget's text.
• Text Field Border Color: Adjusts the color of the text fields' surrounding border lines.
• Background: Adjusts the color of the widget's background.

Referral registration form customization

The referrals registration form can be customized in your Admin’s Onsite Referrals Widget settings page.

Appearance customization options:

• Primary color: Adjusts the background color of the widget. The text adjusts automatically to black or white according to the selected color.

Text customizations options:

You can customize the same text keys for both the “Signup page” and the “Share page” of your referral registration form:

• Title: Changes the form’s title text. For example, on the “Signup page”, by default, it is set to “Give your friends a gift” by default.
• Subtitle: Changes the text that appears in bold below the title. For example, on the “Signup page”, by default, it is set to “Share a [friend_discount] discount link with your friends and family, and earn [advocate_reward] for every purchase they make”.
• Button caption: Changes the text displayed on the form’s CTA button. For example, on the “Signup page”, by default, it is set to “Get Discount Link”.

Referral Emails

Every customer who registers as a brand advocate using an Onsite Referral Widget will receive an automatic email with their unique referral discount link to share with family and friends.

Your advocates can always recover their discount links or codes using this email.

The email's content will change according to the type of Post-Purchase incentive selected in your Loox Admin.
