Activating the Onsite Referrals Widget

Customers registering through this widget will receive a unique discount link, which they can share directly with their family and friends using any of the available apps on their devices.

The same discount link will also be sent to their email so they can resend it at any point.

To display the Loox Onsite Referrals Widget on your store:

1. Go to the ״Referral Widgets".
2. Under "Onsite Referrals Widget", click "Activate".
3. Inside the Shopify Themes menu, click "Customize" to access the Theme Editor.

4. Click “Add section” on the bottom-left corner and select "Onsite Referrals Widget".

5. Drag and drop the widget app block where you would like it to appear.
6. Click "Save".

Customization options

You can customize the widget's colors and text to match your brand’s design through the Shopify Theme Editor.

• Layout: Choose whether or not to display an image within the widget.
• Photo: If Layout is set to "Display Photo", you can upload your own image, or select one from Shopify’s collection of free images.

Displaying the Onsite Referrals Sidebar

• When clicked, the Onsite Referrals Sidebar will open a registration form, providing your visitors with a unique discount link they can share with their friends and family.

Customers can copy the link or share it directly using any of the available apps on their devices. The same discount link will also be sent to their email, so they can resend it at any point in time.

Customization options

You can customize the sidebar to match your brand’s design through its dedicated settings page.

• Position: Choose which side of the page the Referral Sidebar Widget will appear on. 
• Orientation: Choose to display the text from top to bottom or from bottom to top.
• Display on: Choose which pages the widget will appear on. 

Onsite Referral emails

Every customer who registers as a brand advocate using an Onsite Referral Widget will receive an automatic email with their unique referral discount link to share with family and friends.

• The email banner and text can be customized through the Onsite Referral Email's settings page.
