Scheduling Emails According to Delivery Timing

Schedule your Loox Review Request emails to be sent based on when your customers receive their orders using our delivery-based Review Request email timing.

You can use delivery-based timing in one of two ways: using Shopify's delivery tracking or the Loox + AfterShip integration.

Using Shopify's Delivery Tracking

To use delivery-based timing, Shopify must receive shipment status updates from your shipping carrier or tracking app. Loox relies on this information to determine the delivery status of an order.

  1. Use a supported delivery tracking service

Shopify tracks shipment status from:

  1. Verify that Shopify is receiving shipment updates

To confirm that shipment status is being reported to Shopify, check the Delivery Status column on the orders page. If shipment updates are working correctly, you will see a delivery status listed for each order.

  1. If delivery status is missing

If there is no delivery status listed in Shopify, check with your shipping provider or tracking app to confirm they are reporting shipment_status updates to Shopify.

Important: If the shipment_status is not tracked, Shopify will not send Loox the notification that the package has been delivered and the email will not be sent!


Using AfterShip

Follow these instructions to complete the integration:

  • Inside the Loox "Settings" menu, go to "Integrations".
  • Under "AfterShip" click "Manage"

  • Copy your AfterShip webhook link from the "AfterShip" section

Notes:

  • To enable the Loox + AfterShip integration, you need to have an AfterShip account that supports Webhooks.
  • You can set up a Fallback Timing, which will schedule a review request email in case the delivery status was not reported to Shopify
