Exclude Specific Orders, Customers, or Products from Receiving Loox Emails

Prevent specific customers, products, or orders from receiving review request emails using blocklisting.

Block specific orders from receiving review request emails

1. Head to your Loox admin under Settings > General > Email settings.
2. Under "Exclude orders from Loox emails", add any Shopify order tags that you want to block from receiving Loox review request emails. Make sure to add these order tags via your Shopify Orders menu.
   

Blocklist recurring or subscription orders

1. First, tag the relevant orders with a tag of your choice. For example, you may want to use tags such as:
   “recurring_order”, "subscription_order", or “NOREVIEW”. You can automate this by using a 3rd-party tagging app and creating rules to automatically add the block-listing tag once a rule of your choice occurs - like if the customer ordered before). We recommend Shopify Flow, a free app that allows you to create automations for tagging and various other functions. 

2. If you use a custom tag (any tag that isn’t “NOREVIEW”), head into your Loox admin under Settings > General > Email settings and add your tags under "Exclude orders from Loox emails" to make sure our system recognizes your tag(s) of choice.
   

3. Once you've added the tag(s) in your admin, any future orders with the tag will be skipped and will not receive a review request email. Adding the tag to existing orders that came in before the setting was in place will not work, and those orders will still receive a review request email.

1. Open your Shopify Customers / Products menu.
