Activating the Klaviyo integration
To send follow-up emails to your customers through Klaviyo, Loox must be integrated with your Klaviyo account.
To integrate your Loox account with your Klaviyo account:
- Inside the Loox App's "Settings - Integrations" menu, go to "Klaviyo" and click "Manage".
- Click "Activate integration".
You’ll be redirected to your Klaviyo account to allow Loox access. Once you allow Loox access, your accounts are connected.
- That's it! You can start creating email flows based on Loox reviews.
Note: If you previously connected your Loox and Klaviyo accounts using an API key, there's no need to activate the integration again. All existing flows will continue working as-is.
Creating an email flow within Klaviyo
Once you have successfully integrated Klaviyo with Loox, you can create a new flow in Klaviyo triggered by Loox reviews.
When a new review is submitted, Klaviyo will create a "Loox Review Posted” event in the customer's Klaviyo profile. The event includes the following properties:
- Rating: Review's rating (1-5).
- Photo Included: Whether the review includes a photo or not.
- Video Included: Whether the review includes a video or not.
- Author: Reviewer name.
- Product Title: Product name, as listed in Shopify.
- Product URL: URL address of the product page.
- Product ID: Shopify ID of the product.
- Order ID: The order’s Shopify ID.
To create a new flow in Klaviyo based on the Loox trigger, follow the steps below:
- Create a new flow within Klaviyo. We recommend calling it "Loox Reviews" or "Post-review flow"
- Select "Metric" as the flow trigger
- Select "Loox Review Posted", set up any filters if you wish, and click "Done"
- Now, you can create the rest of the flow within Klaviyo
