Auto-translating customer reviews to a specific language

To automatically translate your customer reviews to a specific language:

  • Select your preferred "Primary language" from the dropdown menu:

Additional information

  • The Loox automatic translation will translate to "Simplified Chinese" when selecting "Chinese" in the "Main language" dropdown.
  • When exporting your collection of customer reviews, the exported CSV file will contain your reviewers' original text in their original languages.
  • Once enabled, translated reviews will have a label indicating the customer's original review language. This label can be customized in the Product Reviews Widget editor:

  • To prevent technical errors during the translation process, when the Auto-translate toggle is set to on, the Loox + Weglot integration will be disabled and will not translate any customer reviews (including if set to "on").
